Market Now: Stocks that hit 52-week high in today's session
NEW DELHI: Over 30 stocks, together with Automotive Stamp, Au tiny Finance Bank, PTC India, Housing & Urban Development Corporation, Bodal ChemicalsBSE 9.83 %, Aditya Birla MoneyBSE 4.98 try to Central facility Services (India) hit their recent 52-week high on NSE in Wednesday's early trade.
Meanwhile, stocks like REI AgroBSE -3.57 %, Religare, Lanco InfratechBSE -4.21 %, KSS, banking system SoftwareBSE -4.17 %, Munjal AutoBSE 0.42 try to HPCLBSE 2.50 the troubles touched their recent 52-week low.
Benchmark indices saw a firm begin on Wednesday's session, however pared gains because the trade advanced.
Nifty50 slipped below 9,800, a psychologically necessary mark for investors, whereas BSE Sensex slipped below 31,800 marks.
Gains of motor vehicle, FMCG and holding stocks were offset by IT and bank stocks.
Benchmark Nifty50 index was fourteen points up at 9,799, whereas the 30-share Sensex was twenty four points up at 31.
In the Nifty50 pack, 31 stocks were trading in green, while 18 stocks were in red.
On BSE, 1,209 stocks were advancing whereas 878 stocks were declining.
Shares of Reliance IndustriesBSE 1.12 % (Rs 126.40 crore), Bharti Infratel (Rs 62.27 crore), TCS (Rs 44.08 crore), IndusInd BankBSE 0.66 % (Rs 36.88 crore), HDFC (Rs 36.17 crore) and YES BankBSE 0.26 % (Rs 34.05 crore) emerged as the most active stocks in terms of value.
On the other hand, shares of Bharti Infratel (number of shares traded: 0.15 crore), Vedanta (0.11 crore), HindalcoBSE 0.52 % (0.10 crore), ITCBSE -0.47 % (0.08 crore), RILBSE 1.12 % (0.08 crore), Ashok Leyland (0.08 crore) and SBIBSE 0.39 % (0.08 crore) emerged as the most active stocks in terms of volume in trade so far.
